Scuba Diving: Selsey lifeboat Station is one of the best shore dives off the South Coast of England, with the best visibility normally found on the slack water 3 hours before high tide, and the not so good visibility found on the slack water 4 hours after high tide.

Wind direction of South East / East is known for killing the Vis, so diving this site is best done when the wind is blowing off shore all WSW, visibility of up to 8 meters can be found when condition are right, however average visibility is normally around 2 - 3 meters thought out the year, with water temperatures from 8 - 22c depending on the time of year.

Maximum depth is around 6 meters which makes this dive site great for newly qualified divers, especially junior divers.
